Plan Ahead for Tattoo Removal
People have various reasons for changing their minds about a tattoo they may have gotten years before. To some individuals the issue of removing tattoos may be more urgent and they may have a certain time frame they are shooting for to get that tattoo removed.
For instance, a bride planning her wedding decides she really doesn’t care to have an old or poorly done tattoo on her shoulder ruining the look she wants to portray. If she is serious about having a clear, art free shoulder then she should plan well in advance. If not, the only option may be using some type of makeup to cover the area but that may not do the trick depending on the size and colors of the tattoo.
Any manner of tattoo removal you choose to use, the time involved will take months and in some cases years to completely remove tattoos. Again, this is dependent on the size and colors involved.
Tattoo removal creams such as Tattoo Off, Wrecking Balm, and Tat-Med are probably the number one product choice. The main reason for this is the convenience and price tag associated with these removal creams. Tattoo removal creams are not strong enough to penetrate the deep layers of skin where the ink of a professionally done tattoo is concentrated. They show success in fading tattoos and removing amateur tattoos.
Some people will begin their treatment regimen by using tattoo removal cream to fade their tattoo. Once they feel they’ve reached the maximum fading point, they begin laser tattoo removal treatments. Using the creams to pre fade a tattoo saves cash that would have resulted in more appointments for laser. Laser is very expensive so if you have a way to reduce the number of sessions needed you will be ahead of the game.
Laser tattoo removal involves a long process although quite a bit of progress can be seen with each session. The sessions are fairly quick and short. The treatments are painful and the laser works quickly on the ink. A standard 6 week waiting period is usually required between laser removal treatments.
Adequate time must be given in between treatments to allow the area to heal. Tattoo removal is hard on your skin and it is absolutely necessary to give the skin time to recoup from any form of tattoo removal treatment you are doing.
